July 9 & 10, 2022

Calgary is hungry for a signature Beach Volleyball event, and we’re excited to make it happen. Where one event fell, the beach community has been quick to put something back in place. Introducing the Calgary Open, the newest biggest beach volleyball tournament in town. The Calgary Open is being organized in partnership by the most trusted beach organizations in the city: CBVA, The Beach YYC, and the NBVL.

This 2 day event will feature beach volleyball divisions for 15U and 16U age groups who will play alongside the pros on July 10th. Youth age group events will play for a selection of prizes.

The highlight of the Calgary Open will be the Men’s and Women’s Pro adult event which will be played alongside the other categories on July 9th and 10th. Alberta’s top beach volleyball athletes and competitive teams from across the country will compete in up to a 24 team tournament for a total prize purse of $15,000.
